EIDHR Evaluation on the Abolition of Death Penalty projects (2006-2007) |
Support to the European Commission to improve the impact of the EIDHR (European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights) projects supporting civil society activities aiming at the abolition of the death penalty, by strengthening the Commission’s ability to draw on lessons learnt from past and ongoing interventions for future planning, programming and project identification.

The objective of the mission was to evaluate past and ongoing interventions in the field of Human Rights and Democratisation so that the EU Member States and the European Commission Delegations to the Philippines and Cambodia could improve their future planning, programming and practical follow-up in these fields.

Evaluation of the last 2 NEEDS (Network of Europeans for Electoral and Democracy support) projects for the EC and recommendations for the future project concerning the training of EU Electoral Observation Mission experts and observers, support and technical assistance to Domestic Observers Organizations (DO) and methodological support for EU EOMs.The assignment included drafting Terms of References for a future call for tender in the same field. |
| Privatization Consultancy (2006-2007) |
Technical assistance to the National Divestment Committee in the divestment of state-owned enterprises in the agro-business sector:
- Assist the NDC in reviewing the divestment plan for the 7 state-owned rubber estates (SOREs) that form the core of the Cambodian rubber sector and for 2 state-owned agri-business enterprises (AIC and KAMFINEX);
- Provide advice on specific issues, such as the marketing strategy to foster competition and mitigation measures to facilitate the hand-over process;
- Assist the NDC in developing resettlement policies and a monitoring framework to ensure transparent practices;
- Identify relevant training specialists in income restoration to train displaced/redundant personnel. |

Support for the design and technical monitoring of hospital buildings carried out in the framework of ENABEL projects (2016-2021) |
The objective of this contract is to provide specialised technical support in the field of hospital constructions in ENABEL’s various health sector projects using our expertise.
Beyond the conventional architecture and engineering aspects inherent to the construction of all buildings, hospitals require specific expertise related to: the definition of needs and spatial planning, taking account of the health map; the organisation of the different departments in a hospital (maternity, paediatrics, operating theatre, emergency, etc.), and the integration of specific biomedical equipment taking account of their characteristics and specific needs. |

The overall objectives of the Institutional Support Project (ISP) to Vietnam are to support ongoing reforms towards transparent and accountable governance based on the rule of law, thus contributing to the implementation of the Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy.
The specific objectives of the project are to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the legislative, legal and judicial institutions of Vietnam, in particular to satisfy conditions for international integration (e.g. WTO accession) and transition to a market economy. |

| Lenders’ Technical Advisor (LTA) for a PVC/PET and Caustic Soda Project (2019-2020) |
The LTA provided professional advice to the Lenders on the project in performing technical due diligence. The industrial complex consists of 6 main sections: the EDC/VCM plant, the PVC plant, the air separation plant, the ethylene terminal and cryogenic ethylene storage tank, the PET plant, and the caustic soda plant. During the review, the LTA reviewed key technical aspects, identified risk issues, and proposed an approach/mitigants to address these issues, where necessary. |
